|
The unit is actively involved in a teaching and training program for medical students, neurosurgical residents and anaesthesia trainees. It is designed to promote understanding of neuroanaesthesia and to inspire caring for patients, technical skill, and scientific inquisitiveness. Its research efforts in clinical anaesthesia aim to achieve significant scientific discovery while being relevant to neuroanaesthetic practice. Its clinicians, each of whom has an area of sub- specialization, strive to function as a group in an atmosphere of collegiality and mutual respect. The neuroanaesthesia unit promotes multidisciplinary collaboration in the medical and scientific communities and is committed to the continued improvement and growth of its comprehensive program, which addresses the needs of patients through the integration of science and quality care. |
